I am probably one of the few people that enjoys winter. I love snow and any reason to drink coffee at any point in the day because it is cold out side. I even smiled a little last week when we had the random snow fall, although I was a bit confused by it. I still smiled.
Come March though I am ready for Spring. I am ready to see the flowers blooming and being able to send Finley outside to play. She has been outside every night this week while Matthew works on projects in the garage. I'll tell her Daddy is outside and she runs to get her shoes on.
Here are a few of my favorite things about Spring:
* Picnics in the park.
* Bubbles and chalk outside.
* Finding new places to eat and asking to sit outside because it is too nice to stay inside.
* Flowers blooming.
* Spring means birthdays! Mine and Finley's birthday's are this month and they are only 5 days apart!
* Ridding bikes.
* I enjoy the rainy days, as long as they don't turn into tornadoes.
* Living in the mountains I love seeing them come alive. After months of grey sleeping trees, to come around the bend in the river and see green always makes me smile.
* Being able to wear dresses and skirts without leggings.
* Sandals and showing off painted toenails.
It is wedding weekend for us!
