OK people! Have you ever bought a coke and seen that code under the cap? Or bought a package of diapers or wipes and seen the code sticker on the package? That is a rewards code. Lots of company's use them and they are AWESOME! I am a big fan of these! You can get so much free stuff using these code. Here is a list of sites I use and where to find the codes....
Coke
www.mycokerewards.com
You can find the codes under caps, on the plastic wrap of a 24 pack of water, or the flaps of the 12 and 24 packs. The points range from 3 pts - 20 pts. I have not paid for a magazine subscription in almost 2 years! I'm talking bon appetit, Family Circle, House Beautiful, Country Living, Southern Living, Real Simple, Parents, and sooooo many more! You can also get Snapfish products and a ton of other things! I am super cheap, so I am always looking for cheap (or free) gifts for grandparents for holidays and this site offers some great items! (They do codes for all products, even Powerade, except for the single bottles of water. You do not get a code when you buy just a bottle of water.)
Pampers
www.pampers.com
This is their gifts to grow program. It is the same idea as the coke rewards with some of the same items, but they offer a lot of neat items for baby too! Such as toys and coupons for diapers, wipe and Dreft laundry detergents (we all know how expensive that stuff is... on a side note... Tide Free and Gentle has the same active ingredients and is about $5 less.) I have been able to get my daughter a few plate sets, a puzzle, and bathtub paints! You can find the codes on the diapers and wipes, sometimes you have to look for them. For instance, on the wipes that are individually wrapped, the codes are on the back where the seam is. But for the big bag of wipes, the code is inside on the side on the bag.
Huggies
www.huggies.com
This is the same kind of program as Pampers, but it is call Enjoy the Ride (have you seen the commericals?). They offer a lot of the same products. On this site it looks like mostly toys, magazine subscriptions and formula coupons.
Also, every now and then you can google search for codes. For example since we are in February you can go search "Huggies February 2012 rewards codes" or something along those lines and you can find sites with list of codes to enter for free points! Once you start this, you will not be able to stop! My husband makes fun of me because I will see a coke bottle and pick it up for the cap, and to throw it away (just doin' my part!). Once you realize that there are things out there that you could be getting for free, you will kick yourself for not starting this sooner!
Finally, the box tops program is great! They are not just for public schools, homeschoolers are able to use them too! We use a lot of products in our home that have the box tops on them and I save them for a friend of mine that home schools and she loves it!

Here we go....
I love blogs.... I've always wanted to do a blog. But where do I start? I'm never really sure what to write about or put on the blog. I also don't feel like I am very good with words. I am sometimes blunt and to the point, so the things I say aren't always "pretty". But I figured I would give it a shot! I love to make things, especially for my daughter. I also enjoy cooking and being very organized. So I guess that is what I will blog about.... As I discover new things to make, new ways to be organized or cook, or just fun things my family and I are doing, I guess I will write about it.... I do have to say most of the things I make I find on the Internet (i.e. Pinterst.... duh). I will try to link over to the site I get my ideas from, but I sometimes will tweak the project to my needs, so I will add tutorial if needed. So here we go.......
